For sailing, there doesn't seem to be any specific or standard uniform. Any sailing uniform usually just consists of a life jacket and light clothing.
A sailboat consists of many parts, and each part has its own specific function.
The Main Halyard: The rope used to hoist the mainsail and is attached to the head.
Mast: The tall spar used to hold the sails, ropes, and anything else that would be associated with controlling the sails.
The Jib Halyard: The rope used to hoist the jib.
The Head: The upper part of the sail, and is attached to the main halyard.
Luff: The leading edge of a sail.
Leach: The back edge of a sail.
Mainsail: The sail located behind the mast of a boat.
Jibstay: A rope that keeps the mast from falling backwards.
Shroud: Pieces of rope that keep the mast from falling to either side. There is usually one on each side.
Jib: A triangular sail that sits ahead of the foremast (or mast, in this case) of a boat.
Boom: A pole along the bottom edge of a sail that controls the angle and shape of the sail.
Clew: The back, bottom corner of a sail.
Foot: The bottom edge of a sail.
Tack: The forward, bottom corner of a sail.
Jib Sheet: A line that attaches to and controls the clew of the jib.
Mainsheet: A line that attaches to the boom and is used to control the mainsail.
Stern: The rear-most part of boat
Hull: The watertight body of a boat
Bow: The forward-most part of a boat
